Sign-in troubleshooting
A QR that will not load, a code that never arrives, a scan that hangs — what to try, in order.
This page matches the three failures the sign-in page at console.beatra.ai links to. Each section is ordered: try the first step, and only move on if it does not help.
Every method signs you into the same account. If WeChat will not work, an email code gets you into the same account with the same credits — it does not create a second one.
The QR code will not load
The QR is loaded straight from WeChat's open.weixin.qq.com, not from Beatra.
When it does not appear, the problem is almost always that one network hop, not your account.
- Use "Open WeChat to sign in" on the page. When the QR will not load, that button is already standing where the QR would be. It hands off to WeChat's own authorization page instead of relying on the embedded QR, and it succeeds far more often on corporate networks and in browsers running content blockers.
- Turn off ad and privacy blockers, then reload. uBlock, AdGuard and Brave Shields block cross-site iframes, and the QR is one.
- Try a different network.
Some corporate and campus networks block
open.weixin.qq.com. One attempt on a phone hotspot tells you whether the network is the problem. - Reloading the page repeatedly gets you rate-limited. There is an hourly cap on how many QR sign-ins one exit IP can start. Once you hit it the QR simply stays blank — indistinguishable from a QR that will not load. Wait an hour, or use an email or phone code instead.
The QR itself expires. When it does, a "Get a new code" layer covers it; one click issues a new one.
The code never arrives
- Wait the full 30 seconds before resending. Both email and SMS can take minutes, and resending only puts each new message further back in the queue.
- Check spam and promotions. Corporate mail filters are the strictest, and a first verification email landing in spam is the single most common cause. Allow-list the sender domain once and it will not happen again.
- Check the address for typos. A code sent to an address that does not exist produces no error — the page only says it was sent.
- Phone codes are mainland China (+86) only. Everywhere else, use an email code or Google.
- If it says you are trying too often, wait the stated time. Retrying inside the cooldown extends it.
The scan hangs, or reports a failure
- Open console.beatra.ai directly first. If the console loads, the sign-in did work and the failure message was stale. You do not need to sign in again.
- "The QR code has expired", or the page offers "Start again". A sign-in attempt is valid for about 10 minutes. Use "Start again" for a fresh QR.
- You confirmed on your phone but the page still says "Waiting for you to scan…". Usually the browser side stopped polling — a backgrounded tab, a brief network drop. Reload the sign-in page: it normally goes straight into the console, because the authorization already completed.
- You want to sign in as a different WeChat account. Sign out in the browser first, then scan. Scanning a new code while already signed in is treated as the same person authorizing twice.
